Yelena Tipped for Success
10 Mar 2010The respected London-based newspaper The Daily Telegraph, regarded as producing one of the best daily sports publications in the English media, is tipping Yelena for success at the forthcoming World Championships in Qatar.
The newspaper has included Yelena in its “10 athletes to watch” feature ahead of the big event in Doha from March 12 to 14.
Athletics writer Simon Briggs writes: “You can’t have a much better CV than Isinbayeva, who has taken gold at the last three world indoor championships. Yet her domination of the event was broken at the outdoor world championships in Berlin, where she failed to register a successful attempt.”
